Bloodwork Triangulation treats a laboratory panel as a connected, time-sensitive system rather than a collection of independent numbers. A marker inside its reference range can still be meaningful because reference populations are not necessarily healthy or matched to the individual. A single value may also look normal when two opposing processes cancel each other out. The method therefore examines relationships and ratios among markers, compares acute, medium-term, and chronic evidence, and checks the pattern against symptoms and recent behavior such as illness, hard training, food, sleep, or hydration. Findings that appear only in acute markers can be classified as temporary rather than turned into a long-term intervention. Possible disease remains outside performance coaching and should be referred to a medical doctor.

Record the goal, symptoms, and recent events that could affect the sample. Include illness, travel, food, training, sleep, and hydration.

In the wild
Galpin explains that inflammation and dehydration can move albumin in opposite directions. A slightly dehydrated and slightly inflamed person may therefore land in the middle of the reference range. Related electrolytes, symptoms, and hydration markers are needed to reveal the pattern.

Recent illness, training, food, or hydration can alter acute markers and produce a misleading snapshot.
